- The challenge cup can only be awarded to Williams family members. The term Williams family members includes spouse, intended spouse and kin of said members. (100/0/A/9/2013)
- A challenge participated in and won by a non Williams family member will be awarded to the highest Williams family member in the ranking after the actual winner. (100/0/A/2/2013)
- The winner of each Challenge will be responsible for the arrangement of professional engraving of the Cup in a font size and style equal to that of previous entries. (100/0/A/5/2013)
- In the event of the AWC Cup being lost between challenges the existing holder will be responsible for the complete replacement of an exact replica including full engraving of all previous entries. (100/0/A/5/2013)
- Should the Challenge Cup be won by the same Williams Family Member (WFM) in 3 consecutive calendar years, that member's participation and accommodation fee in the following calendar year AWC will be jointly paid for by the other WFM's that participated in the challenge where the 3rd title was awarded. Other WFM's not participating the following year will still be liable for these fees. A WFM's consecutive win count will restart after a 3rd title is awarded. (67/33/A/3/2013)
- The entitlement under Rule 6 will be forfeited by the reigning champion if they are not able to attend the following calendar year Challenge. (100/0/A/2/2013)
- No rule with outstanding liabilities will be allowed to be changed until all liabilities have been settled in full. (100/0/A/3/2013)
- The final decision on rules being accepted into the Challenge Rule Book is based on the votes recorded by noon on the date 1 week prior to the next Challenge date. A rule will only be accepted on the basis of a majority vote (rules with 50%/50% score will be rejected). (100/0/A/3/2013)
